Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Azure Data Engineer with Palantir Foundry expertise to design, develop, and support robust data pipelines and integrations across Azure and Palantir platforms. The role requires hands-on experience in Python, SQL, PySpark, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Palantir Foundry modules including Data Integration, Ontology Manager, Model Integration, and Application Building. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable in data governance, security, and supporting O&G domain requirements while ensuring seamless collaboration with business and product teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and ETL workflows using Python, SQL, PySpark, Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Factory.
• Perform data ingestion and integration between Azure and Palantir Foundry environments.
• Build and maintain Palantir Foundry pipelines, data connections, repos, and Python transformations.
• Design and implement ontology objects, functions, views, actions, and permission models in Palantir.
• Integrate models and business logic into pipelines for advanced analytics, templated reports, and insights.
• Build and enhance Palantir applications including workshops, writeback flows, and advanced actions.
• Implement and enforce data protection, governance, security restrictions, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and domain experts to deliver business-driven solutions.
• Support Palantir ingestion operations, troubleshooting, and end-to-end data engineering lifecycle.
• Engage in AIP (Artificial Intelligence Platform) integrations to support advanced use cases.

Role Requirements and Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, PySpark (Foundry PySpark framework).
• Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
• Deep expertise with Palantir Foundry in:
• Data Integration (pipelines, transformations, repos, data sources)
• Model Integration (business logic, templated analysis & reports)
• Ontology Manager (object types, functions, permissions, object views)
• Application Building (workshops, writeback, advanced actions)
• Security (data foundation, protection, restricted access/views)
• Foundry Certifications: Foundry Certified (Data Engineering, Foundational).
• Experience in Time Series Data, Equipment & Sensors, O&G engineering context.
• Knowledge of Mesa (Palantir proprietary language) and data lineage, object explorer.
• Strong understanding of data governance, protection, and secure access management.
