We are looking for a Finance Associate to support end-to-end accounting, compliance, and reporting for a portfolio of clients. This role involves monthly bookkeeping, GST and Income-tax support, year-end closing, and assistance in audit and statutory compliances. Success in this role means accurate books, timely filings, well-prepared working papers, and proactive coordination with internal teams and clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain monthly bookkeeping and accounting for clients (voucher entry, ledger scrutiny, reconciliations, and MIS support).
  • Manage
    GST compliance
    : GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliation (2B vs books), e-invoicing/e-way bill support (as applicable), and GST notices/basic replies support.
  • Support
    Income Tax
    work: TDS/TCS compliance, advance tax workings support, ITR preparation support, and coordination for notices/assessment documentation.
  • Perform
    bank, vendor, customer, and balance sheet reconciliations
    ; identify and resolve mismatches.
  • Assist in
    month-end and year-end closing
    : provisions, depreciation, schedules, closing checklists, and finalization support.
  • Prepare audit-ready documentation and support
    statutory audits / tax audits / internal audits
    (working papers, confirmations, schedules).
  • Ensure accurate documentation, version control, and organized client-wise working files.
  • Coordinate with clients to obtain data, explain requirements, and ensure timely closure of pending items.

QUALIFICATION:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance (BCom/MCom preferred).
  • CA Inter / Semi-qualified CA / relevant experience in a CA firm is a must
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in accounting, compliance, and reporting in a CA firm.
  • Strong understanding of basics of
    Accounting, GST, TDS, and Income Tax
    compliance workflows.
  • Comfortable working with multiple clients and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, ownership mindset, and clear communication with clients and internal teams.
