Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior IT Project Coordinator to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects. The role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines, monitoring project progress, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, IT project management experience, and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating IT projects from initiation to completion.
  • Work closely with project managers, IT teams, and business stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Track project progress, milestones, risks, and dependencies, and prepare status reports for management.
  • Maintain and update project documentation, including project plans, meeting minutes, and issue logs.
  • Coordinate resource allocation and ensure tasks are completed on time.
  • Monitor budgets, timelines, and quality standards, escalating issues as needed.
  • Support change management processes and ensure compliance with IT policies, standards, and methodologies.
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams, vendors, and business units.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement in project coordination and reporting.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior coordinators (if applicable).

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in IT project coordination, PMO support, or project management.
  • Strong understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, JIRA, Asana, Trello, or similar).
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is a plus.
