Job Title: Senior Information Security Specialist (IT Risk & Compliance)

Location: Hyderabad (Primary), Chennai (Secondary)

Experience: 810 years

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security professional with strong expertise in IT Risk Management, Technology Security, and Compliance. The ideal candidate will possess a solid technical background along with excellent communication and persuasion skills to engage effectively with senior leadership (Directors/VPs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive IT risk management initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. For example, activities like but not limited to

  • IT Risk Assessment, IT Controls Assessment

  • IT Risk Identification

  • Data Classification

  • Oversee technology security and compliance management across cloud, database, and AI security domains.

  • Act as an IT Risk Practitioner

  • Drive IT Security Compliance Management activities

  • Drive IT Risk Remediation and Risk Acceptance activities

  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders, presenting risk findings and influencing decision-making at leadership levels.

  • Conduct meetings, trainings, follow-ups

  • Reporting KPI's periodically

  • Leverage experience with eGRC platforms (e.g., Archer, ServiceNow, MetricStream) to support governance and compliance frameworks.

  • Contribute to security strategy by applying CRISC (ISACA) concepts to practical risk and compliance scenarios.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8–10 years of experience in Information Security, with strong exposure to IT risk and compliance.
  • In-depth understanding of IT Risk Management concepts and CRISC knowledge.
  • Proven expertise in Cloud Security, Database Security, and AI Security.
  • Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Prior experience with eGRC platforms such as Archer, ServiceNow, or MetricStream.
  • Relevant certifications (CRISC, CCSP, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
