Job Title: Site Supervisor – Interior Execution

Location: Chennai

Department: Interior Projects / Execution

Reports to: Project Manager

Job Summary:

The Site Supervisor – Interior Execution will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site activities, ensuring that interior projects are executed according to approved drawings, design specifications, quality standards, and timelines. The role demands hands-on supervision, coordination with vendors and contractors, and efficient site management to deliver a seamless project execution experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all on-site interior works including carpentry, civil, electrical, plumbing, false ceiling, painting, and finishing activities.
  • Ensure that the work is carried out as per approved drawings, design details, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with designers, contractors, and vendors for material delivery, installation, and timely completion of site works.
  • Maintain a daily site report including manpower, progress updates, and issues encountered.
  • Verify and ensure accurate measurements for billing and material estimation.
  • Monitor and maintain site cleanliness, safety, and discipline.
  • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure proper workmanship and finishing.
  • Attend site meetings and provide progress updates to the Project Manager.
  • Resolve on-site challenges and technical issues efficiently.
  • Ensure project timelines and cost controls are adhered to.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of interior materials, finishes, and construction details.
  • Excellent site coordination and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of reading and interpreting architectural and interior drawings.
  • Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple contractors and ensure timely execution.
  • Proficient in site measurement and documentation.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma or Degree in Civil / Interior Design / Architecture or related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in interior site supervision and project execution.
  • Experience in residential, commercial, or retail interiors preferred.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office is needed.

Working Conditions:

  • Site-based role with travel to project locations as required.
  • Extended working hours may be required during handovers or deadlines.
