We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Engineer/Manager to oversee quality

assurance and control activities across our transmission projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) activities for

transmission line projects and plant operations.

  • Develop, implement, and monitor Quality Management Systems (QMS) in

compliance with ISO standards and customer requirements.

  • Ensure all materials, processes, and final outputs comply with project specifications,

engineering standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Coordinate and conduct internal audits, vendor assessments, and site inspections.
  • Prepare and maintain quality documentation, such as Inspection Test Plans (ITPs),

QAPs, NCRs, CAPA, etc.

  • Utilize SAP QM module for tracking inspection results, managing quality

notifications, and ensuring traceability.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Procurement,

Production, and HSE to ensure quality is integrated throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Lead root cause analysis and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Interface with clients, third-party inspectors, and statutory bodies for quality-related

matters.

  • Train and mentor QA/QC teams on quality procedures, tools, and best practices.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of transmission projects (400kV/220kV/132kV lines or

substations)

  • Hands-on experience in plant quality operations
  • Proficient in SAP (Quality Management module)
  • Deep understanding of ISO 9001, relevant IS/IEC/ASTM standardsRole & responsibilities
