Business Analyst – Commercial Lending
Summary:
Seeking a Business Analyst with strong commercial lending experience to support loan origination, underwriting, credit operations, and process improvement initiatives. The BA will work with credit, operations, relationship managers, and technology teams to enhance lending workflows and ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant loan processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and document business requirements for commercial lending processes (C&I, CRE, SBA).
- Analyze current workflows and recommend improvements to loan origination, underwriting, and servicing.
- Support LOS/CRM enhancements (e.g., Salesforce, nCino, Moody's, Finastra).
- Perform data analysis, generate reports, and support credit risk and portfolio monitoring.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (credit, operations, compliance, IT).
- Create BRDs, user stories, process maps, and test cases; support UAT.
- Ensure alignment with lending policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
Skills & Experience:
- 5–7 years as a BA in banking or commercial lending.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, credit analysis, and loan lifecycle.
- Experience with LOS/CRM platforms and process optimization.
- Excellent documentation, analytical, and communication skills.
