Role Summary:

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Architect / Interior Designer to join our team. The right candidate will help conceptualize, develop, and execute interior design projects from ideation to installation, while maintaining our design language and quality standards. You will work closely with the principal designer, clients, vendors, and contractors to realize beautifully layered, functional spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the principal Architect (Ar. Vidya Amberker) to develop design concepts that reflect the studio's aesthetic (e.g. layering, texture, pattern, artful accents)
• Prepare space plans, layouts, elevations, 3D renderings, mood boards, material & finish proposals, and furniture/fixtures selections
• Source materials, furniture, lighting, décor, fabrics, and finishes that align with the design concept and project budget
• Create detailed documentation (drawings, schedules, shop drawings, procurement lists) for contractors, vendors, and artisans
• Follow through installation phase—supervise on-site execution, troubleshoot on-site design issues, coordinate with contractors and suppliers to maintain quality and timelines
• Maintain client communication, meeting milestones, presenting design iterations, receiving feedback, and incorporating revisions
• Keep up to date of design trends, materials, and technologies; contribute ideas to enrich the studio's design vocabulary
• Ensure quality control—attention to detail, finish, scale, proportions, and cohesiveness in every project

Requirements / Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture
• 3–5 years of professional experience in interior design
• Strong portfolio showing residential / boutique interior projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD , 3D modelling /rendering tools (SketchUp, 3ds Max, Enscape, Vray), Photoshop / Illustrator / InDesign
• Sensitivity to materials, textures, lighting, colour, pattern, and scale
• Excellent communication & presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, budgets
• On-site coordination / execution experience with contractors and vendors
• Creative problem-solver, proactive, with strong organizational skills
• Familiarity with Indian interior products, local procurement, and suppliers in Bangalore is a plus
• Flexibility and adaptability to pivot designs based on site constraints or client changes
