Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Maharashtra, India, for the role of Senior Officer in the Micro Seed Lab. The Senior Officer will oversee laboratory operations related to seed preparation, quality control activities, and the execution of microbiological tests. Responsibilities also include maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety protocols, documenting test results accurately, and contributing to process improvements within the lab.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in microbiology techniques, microbial identification methods, and quality control in a laboratory setting
  • Strong understanding of laboratory safety standards, equipment maintenance, and compliance with regulatory guidelines
  • Organizational skills with attention to detail and experience in accurate reporting and documentation
  • Ability to analyze testing results, troubleshoot issues, and suggest process improvements
  • Relevant scientific or laboratory experience, particularly in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, is preferred
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
