Job Purpose:

To provide shore support tovessels by handling their day-to-day operational issues in accordance with thecompany guidelines, port specific requirements, flag, and internationalregulations.

This involves the overseeing ofthe daily operations of vessels with specific importance given to Navigation,cargo, occupational health, safety, and environment aspects.

Ensuring that the vessels are operated in a safeand efficient manner, which will ensure reduced or zero incidents, and directlyensure satisfied clients and in line with our companys QHSE policy, for abetter and brighter development of business.

Job Location: Pune, India

Qualifications: Master Mariner- FG

Experience Required:

  1. Sailed as Master onboard Ocean-going vessels.

  2. Vessel type: Stainless steel Parcel Chemical tanker.

Skills Required

  1. Analytical thinking & Problem solving

  2. Good knowledge in Microsoft Office

Roles & Responsibilities:

The Marine superintendent is accountable for the following:

  1. Compliance with company SMS procedures, forms, and checklists.

  2. Compliance with IMO, Flag, and port state regulations.

  3. MACN policy compliance.

  4. Security related compliance.

  5. Contingency assistance to the vessels at any time.

  6. Ensure favorable results from PSC, Right ship, Flag, Class, P&I, third party inspections and audits.

  7. Incident investigation, Root cause analysis and report making.

  8. Extending hand to CMS for the compliance of Incident Investigations and RCA.

  9. Carrying out and arranging of ISM/ISPS/MLC audits.

  10. Ensuring that the vessels are technically managed keeping within the barriers of our SMS.

  11. Ensure that the KPIs declared for the fleet are maintained.

  12. Continual Improvement to be determined, monitored, and accomplished.

  13. Any amendments needed in the SMS to be informed to the management.
