Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated
Azure Infrastructure Pre-Sales Consultant
to join our dynamic team. You will act as the
technical bridge between our sales team and customers
, supporting the end-to-end sales lifecycle from discovery to proposal, and enabling the design and delivery of secure, scalable, and resilient Azure infrastructure solutions.

This is a customer-facing role that requires a
blend of technical expertise, consultative skills, and strong communication abilities
to drive Azure adoption and ensure client success.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Discovery

  • Collaborate with account managers to identify Azure opportunities and qualify leads.
  • Conduct
    customer discovery sessions
    to assess current infrastructure, pain points, and transformation goals.

Solution Design & Proposal

  • Design
    high-level Azure architecture
    aligned with best practices.
  • Prepare
    technical proposals, BOMs, SOWs, RFP/RFI responses
    , and licensing estimations.
  • Architect Azure solutions across:
  • IaaS
    (VMs, Storage, Networking)
  • Azure Landing Zones
  • Hybrid Cloud
    (Azure Arc, Azure Stack)
  • Backup & DR
    (Azure Site Recovery, Azure Backup)
  • Identity & Access Management
    (Entra ID, PIM, Conditional Access)
  • Monitoring, Security, & Governance
    (Azure Monitor, Defender for Cloud, Azure Policy)

Presentations, Demos & POCs

  • Deliver workshops, solution demos, and proof-of-concepts to showcase value.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.

Collaboration & Handover

  • Work closely with delivery teams to ensure smooth transition from pre-sales to implementation.
  • Support cloud adoption programs and funding opportunities.

Continuous Learning & Industry Engagement

  • Stay up to date with
    Azure innovations, cloud best practices, and certifications
    .
  • Participate in industry events and ongoing skill enhancement.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience:
    4–8 years in IT infrastructure, with at least
    2+ years in Azure pre-sales or solution design
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    cloud infrastructure principles
    (networking, identity, security, governance).
  • Experience in
    solution architecture, BOM creation, and licensing estimations
    .
  • Proven ability to engage with
    C-level executives, architects, and IT decision-makers
    .
  • Excellent
    presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
    .

Preferred Certifications

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
  • ITIL Foundation
    (optional)
