About the Role
As
Senior Project Manager
, you will lead project planning, execution, and delivery for our AI-accelerated software development initiatives.
You
must have a software engineering background
— enabling you to understand technical challenges, evaluate engineering trade-offs, and work closely with developers, architects, and DevOps teams to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
This is not just a coordination role — you will be deeply engaged in aligning engineering execution with business priorities in a
fast-moving startup
environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project delivery in an
AI-assisted, multi-tenant SaaS development environment
. - Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to define realistic timelines and deliverables.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies — sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
- Track and report
AI adoption metrics
(productivity gains, cycle times, change failure rates). - Manage dependencies across backend, frontend, data, and DevOps streams.
- Identify and mitigate risks early to avoid project delays.
- Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and multi-tenant SaaS standards.
- Report progress and blockers to the Director of Engineering and CTO.
Requirements
- Must have a software engineering background
— minimum 3 years as a developer, architect, or technical lead before moving into project management. - 10+ years in project management for SaaS/cloud products.
- 5+ years in a senior or lead PM role, preferably in startups or high-growth environments.
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and technical dependencies.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, CSM, or equivalent Agile/Scrum certification.
- Prior experience managing
AI-driven software development
projects. - Exposure to AWS cloud infrastructure projects.
