Key Responsibilities:

Sales Support:

  • Address the existing customer's needs, and generate maximum opportunities to build the suspect and potential customer pool for the business to explore.
  • Communicate with customers to address queries related to products and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is achieved.
  • Assist the sales team with daily sales activities and administrative tasks like processing of sales orders, ensuring accuracy and timely entry into SAP
  • Collaborate with the logistics and finance teams to ensure efficiency in execution of products and services.
  • Maintain and update customer records and sales documentation, ensuring up-to-date and accurate information recorded in the system

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Promptly respond to customer inquiries and provide support as needed to ensure the basic queries are addressed.
  • Ensure swift addressal of customer concerns and provide prompt resolution to issues, escalate to the sales team or manager when necessary.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, wherever applicable, to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Follow up with customers to understand their areas of concern, gather their feedback on products and services and ensure their requirements are met.

Sales Operations Management:

  • Track the status of each order with the production team to ensure timely delivery of the order to the customer.
  • Promptly highlight any bottleneck encountered or foreseen that would possibly hamper the order processing phase by providing accurate data to the Manager.
  • Ensure entire order processing is smoothly executed - right from raw material procurement to the shipment of the order.

Data Management and Reporting:

  • Generate and analyze sales reports to provide regular updates to the sales team and manager on sales performance and key metrics.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales data and records and ensure all sales activities are documented and recorded in the CRM system.
  • Generate periodic reports to analyze the trends of sales performance and share with the Sales Manager

Gathering market insights for informed sales decisions

  • Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, import-export data and competitor activities and incorporate within the company to help plan and develop strategic actions for driving business growth.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the sales team and other teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Provide support to front-end sales representatives and assist them in achieving their sales targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments, including marketing, logistics, and finance, to support sales activities and ensure customer satisfaction.

Required Skill Sets

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Customer-oriented with a strong focus on providing excellent customer service.
  • Results-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Commitment to ethical business practices and maintaining confidentiality.

Experience:

  • 3 to 4 years of experience in sales coordination in export department, sales support, or a related role.
  • Experience in the electrical industry is preferred.

  • Engineers in any stream can apply for this role.
