**Job Title: Travel Consultant**
**Location:** Gurgaon/Pune
**Salary:** 6-9 LPA
**Job Description:** We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Travel Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of the travel industry, particularly with expertise in GDS Sabre. As a Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling fare rules, ticketing, exchanges, refunds, pricing, and price-back processes.
**Responsibilities:** 1. Utilize GDS Sabre to research, book, and manage travel itineraries for clients. 2. Interpret and apply fare rules accurately to ensure compliance with airline regulations. 3. Process ticketing transactions efficiently and accurately, including issuance, reissuance, and voiding of tickets. 4. Handle ticket exchanges, modifications, and cancellations promptly and in accordance with company policies and procedures. 5. Facilitate refund requests by communicating with airlines and processing refunds in a timely manner. 6. Provide expert guidance on pricing strategies, including fare types, discounts, and promotions. 7. Conduct price-back analysis to ensure competitive pricing and maximize profitability. 8. Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing travel recommendations. 9. Stay updated on industry trends, airline policies, and changes in regulations related to fare rules, ticketing, and pricing. 10. Collaborate effectively with team members to optimize workflow and achieve departmental goals.
**Requirements:** 1. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business, or a related field. 2. Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Travel Consultant or in a similar role. 3. Proficiency in using GDS Sabre for booking and managing travel reservations. 4. Strong understanding of fare rules, ticketing processes, exchanges, refunds, and pricing strategies. 5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-centric approach. 6. Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment. 7. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in handling transactions and documentation. 8. Problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve issues efficiently. 9. Flexibility to work in shifts and weekends as required. 10. Prior experience working in the travel industry in Gurgaon or Pune is preferred.
