Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of facilities maintenance workers to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Plan and implement general maintenance services and repairs for the organization's facilities.
  • Schedule and conduct periodic inspections and tests of equipment to prevent malfunctions and service interruptions.
  • Inspect equipment and facilities to identify repair needs and assess the condition of physical structures.
  • Train maintenance staff in equipment repair and structural maintenance using manuals, work orders, and blueprints.
  • Requisition materials and supplies necessary for maintenance operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, problem areas, and maintenance activities.
  • Monitor and manage maintenance-related contracts with suppliers and third-party service providers.
  • Stay current with relevant regulations and ensure compliance from external contractors.
  • Report to the Facilities Maintenance Manager on maintenance activities and any issues that arise.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with standard maintenance concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
