Role Description

We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer to join our on-site team in Ongole. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable back-end systems for our grocery delivery platform. You will collaborate closely with the Flutter development, product, and operations teams to deliver robust and efficient solutions that power our customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side web applications using PHP (Laravel / CodeIgniter preferred).
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs for integration with mobile and web applications.
• Work with databases (MySQL) to design schemas, write optimized queries, and ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with front-end and mobile app developers to implement seamless end-to-end features.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to improve performance and security.
• Implement best practices in coding, security, and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Maintain proper documentation for systems, processes, and code.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a PHP Developer.
• Proficiency in PHP frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony).
• Strong knowledge of MySQL/MariaDB, database optimization, and query performance tuning.
• Experience in API development, integration, and third-party service connectivity.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end integrations.
• Understanding of version control systems (Git preferred).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Female candidates residing in or willing to relocate to Ongole are preferred.
