We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer (Matillion & Snowflake expert) to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing data integration solutions that enable scalable, high-quality analytics across our business units. This role requires strong technical expertise, hands-on development skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including BUIT partners, DPMs, BAs, and business stakeholders.

As a Data Engineer (Matillion & Snowflake), you will be responsible for:

  • Solution Development: Design and implement new data solutions in Matillion and Snowflake, ensuring compliance with established templates, standards, and best practices.
  • End-to-End Delivery: Own the full solution lifecyclerequirement gathering, solution design, quality assurance, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
  • Reusable Components: Build and enhance reusable components to drive efficiency and standardization.
  • Enhancements & Maintenance: Update and improve existing solutions, closing any documentation gaps and ensuring alignment with coding and process standards.
  • Quality & Proactiveness: Proactively identify and advise on additional jobs or improvements that may not have been initially scoped, ensuring the highest level of quality for deliverables.
  • Support: Provide Level 3 DevOps support to the team for complex issues via ServiceNow ticketing system.

For this position as Data Engineer (Matillion & Snowflake), we are looking for someone with:

  • Primary Skill Area: Data Management & Analytics
  • Technology: Matillion Expert
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Matillion
  • Programming: Proven working experience with Jython (non-negotiable requirement)
  • Secondary Skill Area: Data Management & Analytics
  • Technology: Snowflake Expert
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake
  • Additional Skills
  • Knowledge of Power BI backend is a significant plus
  • Strong capability in requirement gathering and working closely with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with data governance, master data, and metadata management is beneficial
