Job Summary: A Tele Sales Executive is responsible for generating sales over the phone. They play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects, and closing sales. The Tele Sales Executive must be comfortable presenting products or services over the phone and dealing with complaints and doubts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation and Follow-up:
- Identify potential customers and generate leads through various methods such as cold calling, email campaigns, and inbound/outbound telesales.
- Follow up on leads and conduct research to identify potential prospects.
- Sales Calls:
- Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about a product or service using scripts.
- Answer questions about products or the company.
- Ask questions to understand customer requirements and close sales
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business.
- Handle grievances to preserve the company's reputation.
- Record customer information in the CRM system accurately and in a timely manner.
- Sales Targets and Reporting:
- Meet or exceed sales targets and goals set by the management.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring that customer needs are met and exceeded.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, progress, and target achievement.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the sales team and other departments to ensure that customer requirements are met.
- Participate in team meetings and share best practices with colleagues.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma; a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Tele Sales Executive or other sales/customer service role.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Persuasive and goal-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g., CRM software) and telephone systems.
Personal Attributes:
- Resilient and able to handle rejection.
- Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects.
Working Conditions:
- Standard office environment.
- May require working evenings and weekends based on business needs.
Compensation:
- Base salary plus Heavy incentives.
