Role Purpose

The Data Monetization PM will define, build, and scale Pine Labs'
data monetization products and partnerships
. You will be responsible for shaping how data is ingested, enriched, secured, and externalized, while enabling
partners, enterprises, and platforms
to derive value from Pine Labs' ecosystem through
clean rooms, self-serve enrichment portals, and integrations with SSP/DSP/programmatic platforms
. This role is highly cross-functional, requiring you to collaborate with engineering, data science, compliance, and sales teams — as well as external data partners — to drive both product adoption and monetization outcomes.

Responsibilities we entrust you with

Data Monetization & Partnerships

• Devise and own the
  data monetization strategy
  , collaborating with commercial and partnerships teams.
• Establish data partnerships (e.g., clean rooms, SSPs, DSPs, programmatic ad platforms) that expand monetization opportunities.
• KPI
  : Number of active data partnerships signed and monetized; incremental revenue unlocked via data products.

Product Roadmap & Adoption

• Lead a dedicated data engineering team to build scalable data pipelines, enrichment layers, and self-serve applications (e.g., Snowflake portals).
• Drive adoption across merchants, issuers, and partners, ensuring measurable value delivery.
• KPI
  : Product adoption rate, partner usage metrics, revenue per integration.

Measurement & ML-Driven Insights

• Collaborate with sales and partners to develop and evangelize trusted measurement solutions.
• Identify new data sources and apply
  ML/modeling techniques
  to improve accuracy, breadth, and usability of insights in a data-constrained environment.
• KPI
  : Accuracy and reliability of measurement models; number of ML-based attributes powering partner use cases.

Data Governance, Security & Compliance

• Implement strong
  data governance, privacy, and security protocols
  , ensuring compliance with DPDP, GDPR, and global standards.
• Build frameworks for consent management, auditing, and risk mitigation.
• KPI
  : Zero compliance breaches; 100% adherence to internal and external audits.

Strategic Leadership & OKRs

• Define and drive the
  strategic direction for data platforms
  , aligning initiatives with Pine Labs' business goals.
• Set and track
  OKRs
  for platform development, adoption, and monetization.
• KPI
  : Delivery of roadmap milestones; % achievement of quarterly OKRs.

Execution & Project Ownership

• Manage all data monetization-led projects end-to-end: planning, estimation, resource allocation, risk management, and delivery.
• KPI
  : On-time delivery of data products; reduction in time-to-market for integrations.

What matters in this role

Relevant work experience

• 6–10 years of product management experience in
  data platforms, ad tech, Martech, or enterprise SaaS
  .
• Proven record of building
  data monetization or enrichment products
  and driving adoption with external partners.

Technical Skills & Efficiency

• Strong experience with
  data architectures
  (data lakes, warehouses, SQL/NoSQL, real-time pipelines).
• Understanding of
  cloud technologies
  (AWS, Azure, GCP) and
  data frameworks
  (Snowflake, Databricks, etc.).
• Familiarity with ML/AI techniques for enrichment and measurement.

Communication & Ownership

• Ability to simplify complex data products into clear business value propositions.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working with commercial, partnerships, and compliance teams.
• High ownership and ability to operate in fast-moving, dynamic environments.
