Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled
Android Developer
with strong expertise in
Kotlin
and modern Android development practices. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, and architectural patterns (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture). You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, high-quality mobile applications that impact millions of users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Android SDK.
  • Collaborate with Product, Growth, and Design teams to define and deliver new features.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
  • Implement unit tests and ensure app reliability (robustness, usability, performance).
  • Debug and resolve bugs, crashes, and performance issues.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability.
  • Stay updated with emerging Android trends and propose improvements.

Required Skills

  • Strong proficiency in
    Kotlin
    for Android development.
  • Deep understanding of
    Android SDK
    and development lifecycle.
  • Experience with
    Jetpack libraries, Retrofit, Coroutines, Room
    .
  • Knowledge of
    OOP concepts
    and architectural patterns (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture).
  • Familiarity with
    RESTful APIs
    and third-party integrations.
  • Experience with
    Git
    and version control best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Exposure to
    CI/CD pipelines
    for mobile deployment.
  • Experience with testing frameworks (
    Espresso, JUnit
    ).
  • Knowledge of
    Jetpack Compose UI
    .

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Computer Science, Engineering
    , or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in developing enterprise-class Android apps.
  • Portfolio of published or personal apps is an added advantage.
