Job Title: Corporate Bank Technology Core Banking & Payments Engineer

Corporate Title:VP

Location: Bangalore, India

Role Description

You will be playing the technical developer role with focus on code quality based on technical solution, technical design for the core banking solution of Corporate Bank. In this role, you will be accountable to drive a culture of proactive continual improvement in capability of developing the identified right solution, feasibility study for technology migration & new requirements to the projects.

Your key responsibilities

  • Ensures software code developed that matches the software design and business requirements with appropriate quality and performance standards
  • Ensures best practices and lessons learned are being followed in the software development process
  • Manage scope of deliveries, expectations and ensure clear and concise communication to all stakeholders
  • Work with multiple, distributed teams, leveraging resources across teams
  • Have to work in general shifts from DB Bangalore Premises
  • Lead by example to drive a culture of proactive continual improvement
  • Ability to self-manage a book of work and ensure clear transparency on progress with clear, timely, communication of issues

Your skills and experience

  • Areas of Specialty
  • Software Development: Technical team member dedicated to developing the software to meet a technical solution / design and support the testing & deployment
  • Skillset: COBOL, Linux scripting, Control-M and MQ
  • Experience: years experience in software development project using COBOL, in the role of development, design, maintenance and software improvement
  • Excellent development expertise using COBOL & Linux scripting.
  • Knowledge on pro*c is an advantage. Exposure to MQ Series / JMS / Control-M / Oracle
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to detail
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, Ability to work in virtual teams and in matrix structures
