Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Sales Representative to join our dynamic team in the interventional cardiology division. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our cutting-edge cardiology products, including stents, catheters, balloons, and other devices used in interventional cardiology procedures. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to provide valuable solutions, build strong relationships, and drive product adoption in hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development:
  • Achieve sales targets and objectives for the assigned territory.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities by prospecting, cold calling, and networking with healthcare providers (cardiologists, interventional radiologists, and other decision-makers).
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline and track progress against goals.
  • Product Promotion & Education:
  • Present and demonstrate interventional cardiology products to healthcare providers, explaining their clinical benefits and differentiating features.
  • Provide in-depth product knowledge, technical support, and training to medical professionals.
  • Conduct in-services and product presentations for hospital staff and surgical teams.
  • Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders in hospitals, healthcare facilities, and cardiology departments.
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure effective utilization of products in procedures.
  • Address customer needs and concerns in a timely manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Market Analysis & Reporting:
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities and challenges.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis for management review.
  • Provide feedback from healthcare providers to help improve product offerings and marketing strategies.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure adherence to all medical device regulations, company policies, and ethical standards in sales practices.
  • Stay up-to-date on regulatory requirements related to interventional cardiology products and sales.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Medical Sales, Business, or a related field (preferred).
  • Additional certifications or training in medical device sales or cardiology is a plus.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 4-10 years of experience in medical device sales, preferably in interventional cardiology or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in sales, with the ability to drive revenue growth and meet targets.
  • Experience working directly with healthcare professionals and clinical staff.
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of interventional cardiology products and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to travel frequently within assigned territory, including travel to medical facilities and conferences.
  • Ability to lift and carry product samples and equipment, as required.
