About the Role

We're looking for someone who knows how to solve, not just sell.

As a Business Strategist, your role will be to uncover business challenges and shape how design can drive meaningful outcomes. This isn't about pitching pre-packaged solutions; it's about connecting the dots between design, business goals, and long-term impact. You'll work across industries and verticals, helping prospects see how Onething can add strategic value, whether it's improving user experience or enabling digital transformation.

What you'll do

  • Identify, connect with, and convert new business opportunities.
  • Grow existing accounts by identifying untapped opportunities.
  • Translate complex business problems into clear design and digital solutions.
  • Work closely with design leads to build pitch narratives and design strategy decks that bring ideas to life.
  • Drive consultative conversations with mid- to senior-level stakeholders.
  • Co-create go-to-market plans with the co-founder for entering new markets and industries, identifying whitespace and building meaningful client relationships.
  • Stay sharp on digital trends, transformation journeys, and evolving CX expectations.

What we are looking for

  • 3–5 years in business strategies, partnerships, or consulting roles.
  • Strong understanding of digital ecosystems, CX, and transformation journeys.
  • Comfortable navigating digital tools and the business context of design.
  • Experience in B2B environments, especially across digital, design, or marketing/advertising domains.
  • Good understanding of business acumen and business solutions.
  • Consulting background or experience with strategic solutioning is a big plus.
