The incumbent will be responsible for below mentioned attributes:
The person we are looking for functional Trainer role should be a very well-spoken individual who has around 8+ years of experience. He/she is energetic, creative, collaborative, and analytical and has a broad experience in blended training methods. He/she works or has worked in the Corporate sector/Institutions/relevant industry.
The candidate must have
- excellent communication skills and fluent in Hindi and English.
- an expert understanding and delivery of training for functional competencies like: Research methodology, Data collection and processing, Analysis, MIS, Report writing and presentation and providing consultancy.
- fundamental understand or exposure of Corporate/professional working environment and practices.
- strong interest towards developing people and processes.
- IT savvy - Computer and IT skills -MS office PPT, EXCEL, Word, AI usage, Power BI ,etc
- Critical Behavioural Competencies Required: Building Effective Teams, Interpersonal Effectiveness, Customer Focus, People Development, Drive for Results, Taking Ownership & Withstanding Pressure, Functional Excellence, Timely Decision Making, Stakeholder Management, Problem Solving and Decision Making, Nation First, Training and Coaching, etc
- Good health conditions to deliver 8 hours of energetic training sessions for 5 days a week as regular work.
The Trainer must be conversant with Functional Skill Training and familiar with Consulting Services and Consulting Skills, Capacity building/Training skills. Trainer should have at least 8+ years of total experience of 5+ years of training experience and must have conducted training for various groups like Govt/PSU/Corporate, New Hire Induction, Campus to corporate. Trainer should be fluent in vernacular of the state apart from Hindi and English.
In wake of this, trainer will deliver training program and execute it for upGrad Centum's for the project as per client's demand.
Therefore, the Trainer need to:
- Design, Develop & Conduct the structured training for the team for their performance optimization
- Create plan in consent with the Stake holders. Keep control of the training calendar in a proactive way to complete training in time-bound manner.
- Conduct and complete training, work-assignments and assessment activity for the assigned/planned batch or batches as per given schedule.
- Develop, track, maintain and submit training, learning and assessment documents and reports.
- Should be aligned with the industry and can manage strong relationship with all the stake holders.
- Should have excellent command over Communication, Soft and Persuasion Skills.
- Demonstrate excellent understanding of Behavioral Skills/ Soft Skills for: Change agility, Ownership and accountability, Solution-centric mindset, Proactive behavior, Customer centricity, Work ethics and integrity, Goal oriented, Execution excellence, Prioritization and time management, Problem solving and decision making, Emotional intelligence, Interpersonal effectiveness, Communication skills, Conflict management, Assertiveness, Value alignment, Strategic thinking, Quality conscience, etc.
- Deliver & execute training to earn participant and client feedback score above 80%.
- Company can revise the role and responsibility as required for success of the project.
Trainer should have and maintain Excellent Training delivery & management Skills as mentioned below:
- understanding of instructional design skills to structure a learning environment that supports learning of different types of topics
- adapt your training method or technique to the situational requirements
- create and maintain a good learning atmosphere/climate
- master multiple methods to activate people in your training sessions
- give clear guidance and instructions on how to conduct hands-on exercises
- easily adapt learning activities without losing sight of the common learning objective
- an active listener and possess good questioning skills
- understand and use story telling as part of your training
- explain technical concepts with & without using "techy" terminology according to the target audience's knowledge level.
- engage people and maintain a high level of interactivity during the training sessions
