Advisor, Software Development Engineering

Job Title: Application Support System Engineer -Advisor

Responsibilities

• Deployment/Upgrade/Migration: Doing deployment/upgrade/Migration of critical application and provide technical support for flagship application, diagnosing and resolving issues promptly.
• Incident Management: Manage and resolve incidents using related to the Architect application, ensuring timely resolution and communication with stakeholders
• System Monitoring: Monitor application performance and system health to ensure optimal functionality. Working on Monitoring the application, Changes and Incidents.
• Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, collaborating with development teams as needed.
• Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks, including software updates and patches.
• Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for troubleshooting procedures and system configurations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other IT professionals to improve application performance and implement system enhancements.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology
• Experience: 9 plus years of experience in application support or a similar role.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency working on Azure Harness and CI/CD Pipeline Tools.
• Strong application deployment for critical application
• Proficiency in operating systems such Windows Server and Linux Server
• Splunk knowledge, Dynatrace, Change management and Incident management
• Strong knowledge of databases, networking, and programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, SQL).
• Strong Expertise on PowerShell Scripting
• Experience with monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, tools and power shell scripting.
• Certifications: ITIL Foundation certification
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to Work under pressure with tight timelines is a plus
• Flexibility to work in shifts including weekends.
