Role & responsibilities:

  • Independently manage Supply Chain Management (SCM) for sheet metal components and fasteners.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external customers to resolve purchase-related issues.
  • Ensure on-time delivery (OTD) of parts to the production line.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of technical specifications of parts and their manufacturing processes.
  • Take ownership of identifying and resolving quality-related issues.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems ( SAP/ Oracle)
  • Advanced desktop computing experience, Expertise in MS excel.
  • Should have sound knowledge of different manufacturing processes of Sheet metals components.
  • Knowledge in P-to-P process.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and quality standards ISO Certification.

Preferred candidate profile:

  1. BE in Mechanical Engineering.
  2. 5-10 Years of Experience in Freight Car/ Wagon Industry.
