Requirements:

  • Design, develop, and maintain GIS applications using ArcGIS and QGIS, including plugin development.
  • Implement and optimize geospatial solutions for visualization, analysis, and reporting.
  • Work with geospatial databases (e.g., PostGIS) ensuring efficient spatial data management.
  • Automate geospatial workflows using Python scripting for improved productivity.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and stakeholders to integrate GIS data with other systems.
  • Familiar with cloud GIS platforms (AWS, Azure), web GIS applications (ArcGIS Online, QGIS Server), and GIS mapping libraries (Leaflet, OpenLayers).
  • Proficient in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React) for GIS front-end development.
  • Experience with version control (Git) and other GIS tools like FME.
  • Strong understanding of GIS concepts, spatial analysis, geospatial formats (shapefiles, GeoJSON, KML), and data visualization techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills for teamwork in dynamic environments.
