We are seeking a WebGIS Application Developer with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in web development and experience building WebGIS applications using cutting-edge technologies.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain WebGIS applications for various clients using technologies such as Leaflet, OpenLayers, and Mapbox
Work closely with clients and project managers to gather requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs
Write clean and maintainable code, following industry best practices and standards
Conduct code reviews and testing to ensure the quality of the product
Continuously research and evaluate new technologies to improve the productEducation/Experience Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in WebGIS application development
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and related web technologies
Experience with popular mapping libraries such as Leaflet, OpenLayers, and Mapbox
Knowledge of GIS concepts and data formats such as GeoJSON, Shapefiles, and PostGIS
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
