About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will design and build robust backend systems, microservices, and RESTful APIs. You will use your expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, and AWS to create scalable, reliable, and secure server-side applications. This position requires strong analytical skills, including deep knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization in high-traffic environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain backend components using Core Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.
  • Architect and implement scalable, secure microservices for production environments.
  • Create, integrate, and optimize RESTful APIs for seamless communication across systems.
  • Utilize AWS cloud services for application deployment, monitoring, and scaling.
  • Ensure overall system quality through rigorous debugging, troubleshooting, and performance testing.
  • Design efficient data structures and algorithms to maximize backend performance.
  • Collaborate with frontend teams to integrate UI features with backend logic.
  • Review, optimize, and refactor existing code to improve performance and reduce technical debt.
  • Stay informed on emerging backend technologies, cloud innovations, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

  • 6–8 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.
  • Strong proficiency in Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, and AWS cloud tools.
  • Proven experience designing and developing microservices and RESTful web services.
  • Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and backend architectural patterns.
  • Strong debugging, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based deployment, scaling, and performance tuning.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
