Role Description

We are looking for a
UK Accounting – Bookkeeping & Year-End Specialist
to join our team.

This is a full-time
on-site position
based in Delhi.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing weekly/monthly bookkeeping and VAT returns.
  • Preparing year-end accounts for Companies, Trusts, Partnerships, Sole Traders, etc.
  • Preparing Company Tax Returns, Personal Tax Returns, and Partnership Tax Returns.
  • Managing journal entries and ensuring accurate financial statements.
  • Reviewing accounting and financial reporting for assigned clients.
  • Handling client communication via email or phone when required.
  • Ensuring adherence to TATs and SLAs.
  • Supporting month-end activities and day-to-day accounting operations.
  • Training new resources as needed.
  • Documenting processes and updating SOPs when required.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Bookkeeping and preparing accurate Journal Entries.
  • Experience with Year-End Account Preparation and Financial Statements.
  • Strong working knowledge of Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, and similar platforms.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and UK accounting laws.
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
  • Additional skills: Attention to detail, problem-solving, data management, and teamwork.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of accounting concepts & UK Laws.
  • Expertise in software such as Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent, KashFlow, TaxCalc, IRIS, Capium, TaxFiler, CCH, etc.

Minimum Requirements

  • Commerce/Accounting graduate or Inter C.A.
  • 2–3 years of experience in a KPO or CA firm.
  • Strong accounting background.
  • Ability to manage direct communication with clients.
