Job Title: Bus Driver – Plant Operations

Department: Transport

Location: Kalinga nagar JSW Plant

Reporting To: Transport Supervisor / Transport Manage

Job Summary:

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Bus Driver to operate company buses within and outside the plant premises. The ideal candidate will ensure the safe and timely transportation of employees, guests, and materials as per the assigned routes and schedules, while maintaining the highest standards of safety, discipline, and vehicle care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate company buses for employee transportation between designated pickup and drop points.
  • Ensure daily pre-check inspection of vehicle condition (fuel, tyres, brakes, lights, horn, coolant, etc.) before duty.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene inside and outside the vehicle.
  • Follow all traffic rules, plant safety norms, and speed limits at all times.
  • Record daily trip details, kilometers, and fuel usage in the logbook accurately.
  • Report any vehicle malfunction, accident, or unusual incident immediately to the Transport Supervisor.
  • Ensure all vehicle documents (RC, Insurance, PUC, Road Permit, etc.) are valid and available in the bus.
  • Support plant transportation needs such as guest movements, material shifting, or emergency trips as required.
  • Coordinate with the security team during gate entries/exits and maintain trip authorization slips.
  • Attend assigned shifts (A/B/C/D/E) as per the duty schedule and follow time discipline.
  • Follow instructions of the Transport In-Charge and cooperate with other drivers and maintenance staff.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education: 10th Pass. (Or) under matric
  • License: Valid Heavy Vehicle / Passenger Transport Driving License (HTV/PSV) with badge.
  • Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of experience driving buses in plant, industrial, or corporate environments.
  • Skills:
  • Good knowledge of road safety and basic vehicle maintenance.
  • Polite, disciplined, and punctual attitude.
  • Ability to handle emergency situations calmly.
  • Must be physically fit and medically certified for heavy vehicle driving.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: As per company norms (Fixed + Allowances)
