Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly technical Salesforce Technical Lead with a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience to lead the design, development, and implementation of complex, scalable solutions across the Salesforce ecosystem. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in custom development technologies, a strong architectural mindset, and proven leadership skills to guide a development team and ensure technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Architecture:

  • Own the end-to-end technical design and architecture of Salesforce solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
  • Lead the technical design process, translating complex business requirements into robust, high-quality, and maintainable solutions.
  • Define, enforce, and maintain coding standards, design patterns, and best practices for the Salesforce development team.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and design validation to ensure technical compliance and quality across all custom development.

Hands-on Development:

  • Serve as the technical expert and primary developer for complex features, maintaining a hands-on role in development.
  • Expertly develop, customize, and maintain applications using:
  • Lightning Web Components (LWC): Deep expertise in building modern, performant UI components.
  • Apex: Mastery of Apex classes, triggers, asynchronous Apex (Batch, Queueable, Future), and governor limit adherence.
  • Visualforce: Experience with maintaining and enhancing legacy Visualforce pages and integrating them with modern Lightning components.
  • Aura Components: Hands-on experience with Aura framework development for existing and new applications.
  • Implement complex integrations with external systems using various patterns, including REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and middleware solutions.

Team Management & Mentoring:

  • Lead, mentor, and coach a team of Salesforce developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Manage task allocation, track development progress, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to the team, resolving critical issues promptly.
  • Support the growth and skill development of junior developers.

Project Delivery & Operations:

  • Collaborate closely with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to define technical specifications and project scope.
  • Oversee DevOps practices, including environment management, version control (Git/GitHub/GitLab), and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Salesforce DX, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
  • Ensure solutions adhere to Salesforce Governor Limits, security models, and data governance policies.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, providing accurate effort estimates and managing technical debt.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer III (PD-II) and related certifications
  • Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect
  • Experience with advanced Salesforce products like CPQ, Marketing Cloud, or Field Service Lightning.
  • Experience in a large-scale enterprise environment with a significant number of users and complex data volumes.
