Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and analytical Application Support Engineer to join our growing IT support team. The ideal candidate will provide first-level technical support for ERP users, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure business continuity by maintaining seamless ERP operations. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, along with a good foundation in SQL and cloud technologies (preferably Azure).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to user queries related to the ERP system and provide timely resolution.
    Diagnose, troubleshoot, and escalate ERP-related issues effectively.

  • Perform root cause analysis and ensure long-term solutions for recurring issues.
    Write and execute basic SQL queries to investigate and resolve data-related issues.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and external partners to resolve support tickets.
    Communicate effectively with end-users, customers, and stakeholders to understand issues and convey solutions.

  • Document common issues, fixes, and standard operating procedures for internal knowledge base.
    Support system testing, upgrades, and patches as required.

  • Help monitor system performance and user feedback to improve ERP operations.
    Assist with cloud-based ERP integrations and understand Azure-based service configurations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 1 to 2 years relevant working experience of SQL – ability to write and debug basic queries.

  • Basic understanding of cloud technologies, with a preference for Microsoft Azure.

  • Critical thinking and analytical problem-solving capabilities.

  • Solid troubleshooting skills with a methodical approach to issue resolution.
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders and customers with professionalism and empathy.
    Capable of working under stressful or high-pressure environments while maintaining quality service.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Internship or coursework related to ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Salesforce).
