Your Role in Our Story

As an Assistant – Accounts , you will play an essential role in supporting the Finance and Accounts department in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely data entry, and assisting with day-to-day accounting operations. You will contribute to the smooth financial functioning of the organization by ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting through Tally and other accounting tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Finance Team in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records to ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
  • Assist in implementing systematic accounting practices to enhance financial transparency and control.
  • Record daily financial transactions in Tally and verify their accuracy.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely vendor payments and customer collections.
  • Assist in preparation of bank reconciliations, journal vouchers, and expense entries.
  • Maintain proper documentation of invoices, bills, and payment vouchers.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for expense details, purchase bills, and approvals.
  • Reconcile vendor and customer accounts periodically and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare reports on daily cash flow, petty cash, and outstanding statements.
  • Support internal and external audit processes by providing required data and documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all financial and employee-related information.
  • Any other accounting or administrative duties assigned by the Finance Manager.

Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and basic accounting software.

Eager Learner: Willing to understand and adapt to new systems, processes, and financial tools.

Experience: 1–3 years of experience in accounts or finance operations, preferably in a hospitality or service industry.

Qualification: B.Com Graduate (Accounts/Finance specialization preferred).
