Job Role & Responsibilities



Role:   Supplier Quality Assurance-Electronics



Responsibilities:

 

Vertical Responsibilities:

  • New models Quality (RAR-Run at rate, DRBFM, PRBFM)
  • Standardization / 20 Basic Quality systems
  • Vendor audits/ reviews

Horizontal Responsibilities:

  • Ability to handle QSR/ EFR/Warranty /IHR issues/ cases & monitor the same
  • Control of IPO Documents
  • Identify improvement points in process and make process more robust

Competency Requirements



Technical/ Functional:

  • Proficient in Electrical/ Electronic automotive vehicle system.
  • Knowledge of EV battery integration /interface with vehicle/ Manufacturing
  • Knowledge of Li-Ion batteries – different chemistries, NMC, LFP..
  • Knowledge of BMS-Battery management system
  • Experience in quality systems of EV battery  components 
  • Knowledge about automotive industry standards and regulations, applicable globally.
  • having thorough knowledge in Electronic parts, assemblies & its processes.
  • Good understanding of all applicable standards/ regulations and their application
  • Process review & upgradation of the process.
  • Bench marking with similar parts, VA/ VE
  • PFMEA

  • Candidate should be able to work in a dynamic and challenging environment with deliveries on schedule.
  • Good Interdepartmental co-ordination required.
  • Should understand situations in depth, analyze and resolve issues


Specific expertise required for functional area:

 

1)Li-ion battery knowledge  

2) In-depth understanding / analysis  of EV battery system having Li-Ion battery

3) BMS – Battery Management systems , Cell connecting systems
