Job Summary

The Finance Manager will oversee and manage the companys Accounts Receivable (AR) operations and Export Accounting functions. This role ensures accurate revenue recording, timely collections, compliance with export documentation requirements, and adherence to financial standards. The position requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and expertise in export billing, foreign currency transactions, and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable Management

  • Lead and manage the AR team to ensure timely invoicing, collections, and reconciliation.
  • Monitor customer credit limits, outstanding balances, and aging reports.
  • Implement strategies to reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) and improve cash flow.
  • Resolve customer disputes and coordinate with sales/operations for timely resolution.
  • Oversee posting of receipts, adjustments, and AR month-end closing.

Exports Accounting

  • Manage export invoicing, documentation, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Handle foreign currency transactions, exchange rate fluctuations, and bank realization certificates.
  • Coordinate with logistics, CHA (Customs House Agents), and banks for export documentation and payments.
  • Ensure timely filing of export documents and maintain accurate export records.
  • Manage export incentives, duty drawback, and related government scheme compliances.

Financial Control & Reporting

  • Prepare periodic AR and export-related MIS reports for management review.
  • Monitor revenue recognition in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Support internal and external audits related to AR and export transactions.
  • Improve and implement financial processes, controls, and SOPs.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of Accounts Receivable processes and controls.
  • In-depth understanding of export accounting, documentation, and statutory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Knowledge of GST, export incentives, and foreign exchange regulations.

Education & Experience

  • Post Graduation in Commerce
  • Preferred MBA (Finance) or CA Inter preferred but not mandatory.
  • 8–12 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Export Accounting, or similar finance roles.
