Job Description:

Techfinad is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented WordPress Developer Intern to join our team for a comprehensive 6-month training program. This is an excellent opportunity for freshers or students with a basic understanding of web development who are eager to gain hands-on experience and build a strong foundation in WordPress development.

Under the guidance of our experienced developers, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality WordPress websites for a diverse range of clients. The internship is designed to provide you with practical, real-world experience, preparing you for a successful career in web development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development, customization, and maintenance of WordPress websites.
  • Work on implementing responsive designs to ensure websites are mobile-friendly.
  • Learn and apply best practices for theme and plugin customization.
  • Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to integrate website content and features.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, including bug fixes and performance optimizations.
  • Assist in managing and updating website content and databases (MySQL).
  • Participate in code reviews and adhere to coding standards.
  • Contribute to SEO-related tasks and website security enhancements.
  • Document your work for future reference and knowledge sharing.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of WordPress CMS.
  • Foundational understanding of web development languages, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Eagerness to learn and a strong passion for web development.
  • Basic understanding of PHP and MySQL is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • A curious mindset and willingness to learn about new technologies and industries.
  • A portfolio or personal projects showcasing your basic web development skills is a plus.
