Responsibilities

  1. Design & development of 2WH Electric Scooter Chassis components like frame , mainstand,sidestand, swing arm, drive train mechanical parts etc. based on packaging , strength , durability , regulation , DFM,DFA, DFS etc within cost-time & quality target matrix set by top management.
  2. Lead & Drive Design reviews , GD&T , Stack up analysis , Engg calculations , DFMEA / DFM / DFA / DFS/design guidelines.
  3. Oversee Engineering data management, Release management and Engineering change management etc.
  4. Quick fixing of the CFT technical issues , Development failures , Testing failures , Field issues & Supplier issues etc.
  5. Conduct failure analysis & countermeasure for structural components such as the swing arm, chassis, etc.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, suppliers , sourcing , consultants to ensure cohesive product development of chassis Parts.
  7. Value Analysis (VA/VE) and Continuous Improvement (CI) ideas to reduce product costs and drive/support implementation as needed.
  8. Drive initiatives leveraging the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance chassis system performance, efficiency, and overall product quality.
  9. Good knowledge of Chassis system testing , validation , vehicle packaging and CAE for quick fixing of issues/failures and continuous product improvement.
  10. Good knowledge on manufacturing process like Sheet metal, Casting and Forging & Material selection for chassis parts.
  11. Strong understanding of vehicle architecture, dynamics, and overall product design.

Qualifications

Diploma /BE/Btech/MTech - Mechanical & Automobile

Other Requirements

Preferably from 2 wheeler EV / ICE industry

Strong communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

CAD Software Proficiency

Proficiency in Solidworks / UG-NX/CATIA/Creo
