Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget for residential, commercial, or hospitality projects.
  • Develop design concepts, space plans, mood boards, and detailed presentations.
  • Select materials, furniture, lighting, color schemes, and finishes that align with design objectives.
  • Create detailed drawings, floor plans, and 3D renderings using design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, or similar).
  • Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and timelines for project execution.
  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders throughout project development and implementation.
  • Oversee installation, delivery, and final styling to ensure design accuracy and quality standards.
  • Stay current with design trends, materials, and innovative technologies.
  • Ensure all designs comply with building codes, accessibility standards, and safety regulations.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (0–2years) as an interior designer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
  • Strong creative vision with an understanding of space planning, color theory, and lighting design.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Portfolio demonstrating previous design projects.
