Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Network Security Engineer located in Mumbai. The Network Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures for our network infrastructure. Daily tasks will include monitoring network traffic for suspicious activity, investigating security breaches, conducting vulnerability assessments, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The role also involves collaborating with other IT professionals to develop and update security policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Network Security, Firewalls, and Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems
  • Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), and Incident Response
  • Knowledge in network protocols, routing, and switching
  • Skills in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Experience in a similar role is preferred
