Job Title: Placement Officer

Location: Calicut, Kerala, India

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Head of Placements to lead and manage our placement cell. The Head of Placements will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to enhance career opportunities for our students, build strong relationships with recruiters, and ensure a high rate of successful placements across all programs. This is a leadership role requiring a proactive individual with a proven track record in student placements, excellent networking skills, and the ability to inspire and guide a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with a wide range of companies and recruiters across various industries.
  • Identify and explore new avenues for student placements, including internships, final placements, and industry collaborations.
  • Organize and coordinate placement activities, including campus recruitment drives, job fairs, guest lectures, and career counselling sessions.
  • Collaborate with academic departments to understand program curricula and student skill sets to match them effectively with job opportunities.

Requirements:

  • MBA or a relevant Master's degree is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in student placements, career development, or corporate recruitment.
  • Proven track record of successfully placing students in reputable organizations.
  • Strong network of contacts with companies and recruiters across various sectors.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive results.

Qualification:

  • MBA or a relevant Master's degree is highly preferred.
