Role & responsibilities:

  1. Accounting & Bookkeeping:

  2. Maintain accurate books of accounts in accordance with applicable accounting standards.

  3. Manage project-wise accounting for ongoing and completed real estate projects.
  4. Record and reconcile all financial transactions including receipts, payments, and journal

entries.

  • Prepare bank reconciliation statements and monitor bank transactions.

  • Billing & Collections:

  • Prepare customer invoices for property sales, rentals, and maintenance charges.

  • Track and follow up on outstanding payments from clients and channel partners.

  • Coordinate with the sales team for agreement values, payment schedules, and milestone- based billings.

  • Statutory Compliance:

  • Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, Professional Tax, and other statutory returns.

  • Maintain proper documentation for audits and statutory inspections.

  • Ensure compliance with RERA-related financial reporting requirements.

  • Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports for management review.

  • Monitor budget vs. actual expenditure for each project.

  • Support in preparing cash flow projections for ongoing and upcoming projects.

  • Audit & Coordination:

  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors for periodic audits.

  • Provide necessary financial data to management, auditors, and statutory bodies.

  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of agreements, contracts, and vouchers.

  • Vendor & Contractor Payments:

  • Process and verify vendor bills, contractor claims, and consultant fees.

  • Maintain vendor accounts and ensure timely payments as per agreements.
  • Reconcile vendor statements periodically.

Preferred candidate profile

Required Qualifications:

  • B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 4 to 7 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in the real estate sector preferred.
  • CA Inter / CMA Inter is an added advantage.

Desired Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of real estate accounting principles and project accounting.
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP / Tally Prime and MS Excel; knowledge of SAP or other ERP is a plus.
  • Familiarity with RERA guidelines, GST, and TDS regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Good communication skills for inter-departmental coordination.
