Job Title: MEP Manager – Commercial Interior Fit-outs

Qualification: B.E. (Electrical)

Experience: 8–14 years (minimum 5 years in commercial interior fit-outs)

Location: Gurgaon sec 30

Job Summary:

The MEP Manager will be responsible for overseeing all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works in commercial interior fit-out projects. The role requires strong expertise in electrical systems, project coordination, vendor management, and ensuring quality and timely execution as per client requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all MEP works in commercial interior fit-out projects from planning to execution.

Review and approve MEP design drawings, BOQs, and shop drawings.

Coordinate with architects, designers, project managers, and contractors to ensure seamless execution.

Monitor electrical load calculations, lighting layouts, panel schedules, and power distribution systems.

Oversee HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, and other building services in coordination with specialized vendors.

Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and local statutory requirements.

Prepare and track project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.

Manage vendors, negotiate contracts, and oversee quality of MEP materials and installation.

Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and resolve technical/site issues.

Prepare reports and presentations for management and clients.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems with focus on electrical engineering.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.

Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills.

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Knowledge of NBC, IS codes, and local electrical/fire-fighting regulations.
