Job Description Marketing Data Analyst (SQL)

We are looking for a Marketing Data Analyst with strong SQL expertise to join our analytics team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in marketing analytics, data visualization, and campaign performance measurement. You will play a key role in transforming raw data into meaningful insights that drive marketing strategy, customer engagement, and ROI optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL.
  • Build and maintain marketing dashboards and reports for campaign performance tracking.
  • Provide insights on customer segmentation, lead funnels, and digital marketing effectiveness.
  • Partner with marketing teams to design data-driven strategies for improving engagement and conversions.
  • Conduct A/B testing and measure ROI of campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, product) to ensure data accuracy and actionable insights.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in data analytics with strong SQL programming skills.
  • Hands-on expertise in marketing analytics, campaign performance tracking, and ROI measurement.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting insights to stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with digital marketing metrics (SEO, SEM, PPC, email campaigns, social media analytics).
  • Knowledge of statistical methods, Python/R for advanced analytics.
  • Background in marketing, e-commerce, or consumer analytics.
