Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a
Product Manager / Business Analyst (Banking Dispute & Chargeback Domain)
located in Chennai. The individual will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, particularly around
retail and corporate banking, merchant disputes, Visa/Mastercard network chargebacks, and fraud/dispute resolution processes
.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Translating complex banking dispute workflows into clear system and process requirements.
  • Defining product specifications and managing product development for automation and AI-driven solutions.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (compliance, product, technology) to design and implement improvements.
  • Conducting market and process research to identify automation opportunities and best practices.
  • Creating user stories, process flows, and product roadmaps focused on
    dispute management and operational efficiency
    .
  • Tracking KPIs (e.g., dispute resolution time, chargeback recovery rates) and recommending data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in
    retail/corporate banking, merchant disputes, chargeback processes (Visa/Mastercard)
    , or financial services.
  • Strong
    analytical and problem-solving skills
    – ability to break down complex problems and propose structured solutions.
  • Experience with
    business requirement gathering and documentation
    (BRDs, FRDs, user stories).
  • Skills in defining product specifications and managing product lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with
    regulatory requirements (KYC, AML, PCI DSS)
    relevant to disputes and chargebacks.
  • Proficiency in market research and data analysis to identify process gaps.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience in
    financial technology and AI-driven banking solutions
    is a plus.
