We are looking to onboard a candidate for the role of Junior Associate. Those interested in pursuing a career in IP and Commercial Contracts are encouraged to send their resumes.

Qualifications
:

  • Bachelor in law (BA LLB, BLS LLB, LLB / LLM)
  • Desirable: Bachelor's Degree in Law with 60% marks or equivalent in the aggregate of all semesters/years or Master's Degree in Law
  • Experienced candidates with a minimum of 2 to 3 years of work experience in IP and contract management in an IP Law Firm(s) or in-house.
  • Enrolled with the Mumbai Bar Council
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have the ability to analyze and apply logical reasoning while addressing issues
  • Must have good organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent academic credentials, research, writing, and communication skills are required.
  • Well-rounded, dynamic, highly-motivated Advocate
  • Must have the ability to provide high-quality work on a consistent basis
  • Must have the ability to build collaborative partnerships within different teams, including the ability to network within the organization and outside

Key
Responsibilities

  • Provide legal support in respect of deals that involve review and negotiation of contractual terms and conditions.
  • Provide assistance in drafting policies for companies in accordance with POSH law
  • Handling client queries and drafting legal opinions.
  • Handling of trademark/copyright applications, drafting and filing, prosecution, oppositions, cancellations, assignment deeds, and related.
  • Draft and review cease and desist notices and other communications in respect of IP Infringement.
  • Drafting and reviewing of master service agreement, NDA, website terms and conditions, website policies, collaboration agreement, share purchase agreement, MOU, employment agreement, policies, workplace visitor policy and procurement policy
  • Researching and summarizing the recent case law update
  • Assisting in vetting contracts
  • Preparing PowerPoint presentations, notes, and summaries on the Law and other related laws
