Job Description: Site Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in construction supervision and a strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Coordination:
  • Develop and implement detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely project completion.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential issues or delays.
  • Site Supervision:
  • Oversee daily construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
  • Inspect materials and workmanship to guarantee quality standards.
  • Enforce safety regulations and conduct regular safety inspections.
  • Resolve site-related issues and conflicts promptly and efficiently.
  • Quality Control:
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality audits.
  • Document and report on project quality metrics.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily reports, inspection reports, and change orders.
  • Prepare progress reports and other relevant documents for project stakeholders.
  • Client Communication:
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and project team members to keep them informed of project progress and address any concerns.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in construction supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and construction drawings.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in construction management or a related field.
  • Experience with specific construction software (e.g., project management, scheduling).
  • Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
