Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and
creative storyteller
to join our team in Bangalore as a Video Editor. You will play a crucial role in transforming raw content into high-quality, engaging educational videos that captivate, inspire, and educate our audience. This is a perfect opportunity for a passionate editor who wants to make a significant impact in the edtech industry through the power of visual narrative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creative Storytelling & Editing:
    Collaborate with the content team to understand learning objectives and craft compelling video narratives that enhance student engagement and comprehension.
  • End-to-End Video Production:
    Utilize video editing software to assemble footage, add dynamic transitions, overlay text and graphics, and incorporate audio elements to create a polished final product.
  • Quality Assurance:
    Ensure all video content meets technical specifications and the highest quality standards for playback on various platforms (web, mobile, YouTube).
  • Asset Management:
    Manage and organize video assets, including footage, graphics, sound files, and project files, maintaining an efficient workflow.
  • Innovation & Trends:
    Stay updated on the latest trends in video editing,
    AI-powered content creation tools
    , and best practices to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of our video output.

What We're Looking For (Requirements):

  1. Proficiency in professional video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects).
  2. A strong
    creative vision and storytelling ability
    – you don't just edit clips, you craft narratives.
  3. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards while meeting deadlines.
  4. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the content team.
  5. A strong portfolio showcasing your editing and storytelling work (educational, explainer, or promotional videos are a plus).
  6. Knowledge of motion graphics and animation to create engaging visual elements.
  7. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  1. Familiarity with AI video/podcast tools
