Sr. Credit Manager - Credit SME - SEG - Delhi - Delhi | Aditya Birla Capital Limited | Financial Services

Key Result Areas:

Selection - Based on internally defined criterion, analysis of market information, current macroeconomic scenario & portfolio concentration, etc

Assessment - Management Risk, Industry Risk, Business Risk and Financial Risk

Structuring – to meet norms and generate internal comfort on lending mechanism. Structure risk mitigants to ensure that the credit recommended is within the articulated credit risk appetite of the company;

Compliance – Regulatory, Credit Policy and product program

Reference Checks - Banks / Other lenders / Trade / Competitors / suppliers / customers

Visit – meeting with promoter and visit of business premises

Presentation - Capture the strength and weakness with identified risks and proposed mitigants

Meeting with promoter of borrower

Understand the purpose of fund requirement

Structuring the deal to fit within regulatory requirement

Structuring the repayment in line with cash flow


• Define the covenants to close monitoring

Effort is made to crash timelines with-out compromise to credit quality by:

To approve cases as per the approving authority matrix as defined in the policy within defined TAT to ensure customer satisfaction

Personal discussion with customers to understand business, cash flows, purpose of loan, etc and resolution of credit concerns.

Timely submission of proposals

Personal Coordination with proposers and approving authorities to ensure timely decision-making

Timely Intimation - Advance intimation to Business team for proposals due for review and renewals.

Checking Account Conduct & latest updates to ensure the fulfillment of the conditions / covenants stipulated at the time of sanction

On-going surveillance of key concern accounts

Covenants compliance and timely escalation

Quarterly / Half yearly review of the borrowers performance

Tracking macro developments affecting portfolio performance and early warning signal

To work closely with the business team for recovery and closure of early delinquencies.

Compilation – Co-ordination, Collection and sanity checking of information desired for preparation of MIS reports for portfolio monitoring.

Timely preparation & Effective presentation of MIS reports in precise manner

Mentoring colleagues and subordinates

Keeping the team motivated

Cross functional co-ordination in organizational initiatives

Impart training to the team members on policy and process changes

Help business team to understand the strength & weakness of the proposal

Timely responding to the requests of Business team

Support for development of new products and related parameters / documents

Conduct training and workshops for the sales line.

Projects to improve process delays

Develop and promote industry specialization.
