About The Opportunity
The India Restart Program is designed to bridge the skill gap for individuals re-entering the workforce after a career break of four years or more. The program empowers participants to rebuild confidence, refresh their capabilities, and thrive in technology careers through targeted upskilling and support.

• For individuals eager to restart their careers after a break of 4 years or more.
• An immersive six-month program providing an opportunity to work on technology teams with a designed project plan.
• All participants are paired with a dedicated mentor to ensure guidance throughout the program.
• To maximise learning and collaboration, this program requires being in our Bengaluru office.
• A stipend of INR 50,000 is provided every month for the onboarded candidate.
• Option for full-time conversion based on performance and business requirements at the conclusion of the program.

We are seeking an innovative ReStart Consultant to join our Product Operations Team to help drive the modernization of the Ellucian applications to enable a true SaaS experience. We are in the middle of our journey from a large environment largely manually built and transforming into a fully pipeline delivered environment using tools like Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins and Docker. Our goal is to automate the abstract work required to manage our applications and services so that customers experience a true SaaS experience that provides 99.99 availability. Where you will make an impact

• We are seeking a high caliber cloud engineer who will work with Ellucian's DevOps team. This is an opportunity for the candidate to play a critical role in developing our cloud supply chain, cloud infrastructure, automation frameworks, monitoring and logging strategy. The ideal candidate is a high-performance engineer, a forward thinker and has substantial experience in DevOps, ideally at a SaaS company.
• We are looking for someone with a strong desire to deliver the best solutions by being innovative and contributing to our culture of a leading cloud software company. The candidate will be responsible for:
• Coding CI/CD pipelines with a strong understanding of our product's architecture and cloud infrastructure aiming to accelerate delivery and drive down costs.
• Working closely with the Development and Cloud Operations teams to develop and maintain the Cloud Supply Chain frameworks, technologies, and feedback tools.
• Ensuring that each phase of the Cloud Supply Chain from development to QA, to staging and into production is fully automated, as frictionless as possible, utilizing CICD.
• Coding infrastructure changes utilizing Infrastructure as Code ensuring they are architected to implement 99.9% uptime and enable elastic scalability.
• Ensuring information security best practices and policies are implemented in your designs.

What You Will Bring

• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a cloud engineer using languages such as Terraform, Python, Shell scripting, Powershell, Chef, Puppet, Ansible and/or JAVA with at least 1 year setting up AWS environments for a SaaS company. Demonstrated Proficiency and knowledge of:
• Expertise with cloud providers such as AWS or Azure
• Experience implementing CI/CD (e.g. Jenkins) or expertise with a modern monitoring solution like DataDog, LogiMonitor
• A drive towards automating repetitive tasks (e.g. scripting via Python, Shell scripting, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, PowerShell, and/or JAVA)
• Expertise with network engineering concepts (e.g. Firewalls, Load Balancers, CDN's) or experience with infrastructure-as-code (preferably Terraform)
• Release Engineering tools such as Jenkins and Maven.
• Deep understanding of cloud technologies such as virtualization, storage and network domains in a cloud service model.
• Strong understanding of command-line tools and distributed version control systems such as GIT, GitFlow, SVN, TFS or experience with an ITSM support model.
• Demonstrated curiosity and aptitude for leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity, problem-solving, and decision-making in day-to-day work
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
